What to Pay Attention to if You are Visa-Free | Japan Visas
Always be sure to carry your passport with you at all times so you do not lose it. You can also take a picture of your passport or use a scanner app to upload a digital copy of your passport. If you do this, do not lose your phone!
Do you need more time in Japan? You may be able to apply for an extension with the Ministry of Justice.
